I didn’t have time to post before we went to the beach, so here is what we got with our meat CSA for September
That jar is lard. You have never seen anyone get as excited about lard as I did when I saw it might be available. Can’t wait to make biscuits or pie crust.
Oh and did I forget to mention we also stocked up on Sweet Italian sausage, that’s 25 lbs of Sweet Italian sausage for sauces, meatballs, lasagna and stuffed shells.
I got all the sausage in the freezer, I predict we will have enough space to accommodate the chicken we are getting in
