Since the first of the year we have been writing down how many eggs we get a day, every egg, even the ones with the cracks and ones that broke in pockets or fell as we were carrying them up.
January 89
February 86
March 95
April 103
May 104
More than enough eggs for us. I was concerned when we had to send Floppy to the “chicken coop in the sky” that egg production would drop, but as you can see it hasn’t. The girls would have started laying more eggs in April and May anyway with the longer days.
The smaller birds are about 14 weeks old, we have another month or so before they start laying eggs. I will look forward to the spike in numbers,
